This Privacy policy is formulated by and for Zamloan, in full Compliance with the Laws of the Republic of Zambia, and governed by the Cyber and Data Protection Act Number 5 of 2021 [Chapter 12:07]. The Cyber Protection Act was enacted to provide for data protection with due regard to the Declaration of Rights under the Constitution and the public and national interest; to establish a Cyber Security Centre; a Data Protection Authority and to provide for their functions; to create a technology driven business environment and encourage technological development and the lawful use of technology.

Application of the Policy

This Privacy Policy shall apply to matters relating to access to information, protection of privacy of information and processing and storage of data wholly or partly by automated means: and shall be interpreted as being in addition to and not in conflict or inconsistent with the Protection of Personal Information Act [Chapter 10:27].The Policy shall define how Zamloan will handle and manage personal information including sensitive personal data or information accessed or generated during the provision of its products and services.

Consent

By simply access to the zamloan platform or any part thereof, you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal information (Personal Information, Sensitive Personal Data or Information) to Zamloan. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Terms of Use of the platform.

We use personal information and installed applications details to provide you with personal loan you explicitly requested for, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot concerns, help promote safe services, assess your interest in our services, inform you about offers, products, services, updates, customize your experience, detect and protect us against errors, fraud and other criminal activity, enforce our terms and conditions, etc.

We may also use your personal information to send you offer regarding various services/facilities which Zamloan or its group companies may, from time to time, launch.

We may occasionally ask you to complete optional online surveys. These surveys may ask you for contact information and demographic information (like zip code, age, gender, etc.). We use this data to customize your experience at Zamloan.

Camera Microphone and Storage access

We require camera access to scan and capture the required KYC documents thereby allowing us to auto-fill relevant fields. We require microphone permissions to enable a two-way communication with you for the purpose of performing and completing your KYC. Your audio shall be recorded for regulatory purpose.
We require storage permission so that your KYC and other relevant documents can be securely downloaded and saved on your phone. You can then easily upload the correct KYC related documents for faster loan application details filling and disbursal process

Disclosure

We will not voluntarily disclose your personal information to any third party but in exceptional circumstances, we may do so if we are required by a court order, by Government Authorities, by law enforcement authorities or by other legal processes or where it becomes necessary to do so to protect the rights or property of Zamloan. Please note that Zamloan retains all rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents as well as any other intellectual property right) in relation to all information provided on or via this web site (including all texts, graphics and logos).

Zamcash Public Caution

This is to caution the public that some unscrupulous persons posing themselves as employees/representatives/agents of Zamloan, with an ulterior motive to earn wrongful gain and/or cheat the prospective public. They are fraudulently offering on-line loans on social media platforms such as Facebook. They are soliciting them for loans using Zamloan products Zamloan by asking for deposits of specific amounts via Mobile money other means of money transfer. These people are also authorized using the Zamloan name, trademark, and logos belonging to Zamloan to tarnish the image and reputation of Zamloan.

We wish to caution the general public that Zamloan have not appointed nor authorized any person or agency to give out online loans via social media or any other website other than presented below or to use the name, trademark and logos of our company and products.

The public, in general, is also advised not to fall prey to such fraudulent activities. Zamloan does not ask, solicit and accept any monies in any form from the general public that are applying or wish to apply for a loan with us, whether online or otherwise, as a registration requirement. Zamloan bears no responsibility for deposits/withdrawn from there in response to such offers.

Kindly note that Zamloan follows the process, client will need to click on our website which provides steps and guidelines on how to apply as well as information required in order to submit loan application successfully and if face any challenges our customer care numbers are provided on the websites. Our website is very secure and no third parties involved.
